Program Analyst
The Program Analyst is responsible for analysis, data visualization and process support for benchmarking, forecasting and budget tools used by our members to help in their financial decision making process.
Essential Position Functions
· Provide support and guidance to external membership and internal stakeholders on the preparation of the financial and operating reports.
· Assist on the execution of the financial benchmarking report for the use by internal and external consumers.
· Perform quality assurance reviews of RUS Forms 7 and 12 received from external member cooperatives.
· Receive, process, and track financial model requests from external and internal customers.
· Produce ad hoc and custom studies of our benchmarking report for our members.
· Assist in developing process documentation.
· Participate in CFC financial model testing including planning, creation and execution.
· Participate in deployment of CFC financial models.
· Create compelling financial data visualizations and dashboards.
· Identify process improvement opportunities.
· Work with management, and the Technology team to implement improvements.

· Ability to interpret and detect inconsistencies in financial documents.
· Strong analytical and quality assurance abilities.

· Ability to apply knowledge to develop user-friendly solutions.
· Ability to implement and maintain Excel 2016 financial model spreadsheets.
· Advanced VBA programming and Excel Data analysis.
· Basic Knowledge of programming languages like SQL preferred.
· Basic Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau and Power BI
· Basic Knowledge of accounting practices.
· Ability to use standard office equipment.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, information systems or related field.
· 4+ years’ experience with program analysis.
· 4+ years’ experience programming Excel spreadsheets.
· 4+ years’ experience programming Microsoft VBA.
· Previous finance and/or utility industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar relevant field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience
- At least 3 years of experience developing in React, Javascript, NodeJS and WebSocket
- At least 3 years’ experience in relational database and SQL. Experience working with different Databases and understanding of data concepts
- Skills in diagnosing and turning application performance
- Experience writing automated unit, integration, regression, performance and acceptance tests
- Good understanding of the current trends in web application development
- Solid understanding of software design principles
- Strong consultation and communication skills
- Ability to work with and collaborate across the team and where silos exist
- Deep curiosity to learn about new trends and how to do things better
- Ability to use data to help inform strategy and direction
Responsibilities & Duties
SEQ Technology is looking for a talented React Developer with:
- Build a rich UI with streaming data
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code using React and Javascript Libraries
- Develop data pull, filtering, model calculation components
- Design a modern highly responsive web user interface for executing and monitoring processes and retrieving results
Knowledge of capital markets is a strong plus.
Previous work experience in financial services is beneficial.
