Senior SAP Solution Architect.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
Partner and collaborate with business and implementation teams to support solution architecture for proposed and in-flight projects
Work with the SAP functional and technical Teams to capture all solution requirements and integrate those requirements into designs and roadmap plans
Work with the integration teams to ensure end to end data integrations are developed, configured, tested and deployed as per plans
Prepare and constantly improve, appropriate installation, upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting plans and procedures, documents
Ensure that appropriate technical testing is performed for all the scenarios and results are documented in collaboration with the Digital Utilities Test Lead
Have hands-on experience in architecting retail utility industry solutions with major project implementation experience with large customers
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design robust, scalable solutions in technology that meet Enterprise Architecture standards
Work with the project teams to translate the business and technical requirements gathered into solution designs
Document the design and support implementation for the designed solution, functions, and features in WG environment for optimal performance
Work well with third party service providers, safeguarding WG interests
Assist with Knowledge Transfer to WG’s designated point-person / company / employee for supporting the solution going forward
Prior experience with regulated Utilities preferred
Experience with Leading API, SaaS & SOA Integration Platforms preferred
Well versed in data architecture strategies using tools from SAP, Azure data methods etc. Ability to determine and make a recommendation to the architects on a logical fit to the solution being implemented.
Experience
10+ years’ experience as a solution architect
5 – 10 years’ experience with SAP ERP, Azure (Server and Cloud), MuleSoft, OnBase preferred
Current certifications preferred
Location Remote

- Understanding of streaming market data systems (Bloomberg, Reuters, exchange feeds)
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and Kafka

Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies
- Working knowledge and experience with DB schema and SQL Development
- Experience building services in Java or Python
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
